Rob Sumrall

Rob was raised in Alabama. He has served local churches as a vocational minister for over 20 years. He has served churches in Louisiana, Alabama, and Kentucky. As founding pastor of Crossroads, he hopes to spend the rest of his ministry days serving here. He and his wife Michelle have three children. Rob enjoys reading, cooking, college football, and spending time with his kids. Rob serves Crossroads as its teaching pastor, a LifeGroup leader, and an elder.
Randy Pettus

Randy was born in East St. Louis, IL. He served the Marine Corps for over 23 years, achieving the rank of Master Gunnery Sergeant. He then worked in the call center industry for 19 years. Randy and his wife, Karie, have been married for 24 years; they have four children and three grandchildren. He volunteers as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) with the foster care system. He has been the Administrative Pastor since August of 2017 and oversees the day-to-day operations of Crossroads.
Patrick Walsh

Patrick was born in Virginia, moved a lot as a navy kid, and settled in Kentucky in middle school. He has served in the ministry for over 15 years, mostly in a bi-vocational role. While serving as a youth pastor, he has served as a band director, music teacher, and music minister. He is currently serving fulltime as Crossroads’ Family Pastor. He and Chelsie are blessed with three daughters and a son. Patrick loves music, the outdoors, water and snow sports and most of all, hanging out with his family and students. He serves Crossroads by overseeing the family ministries, preaching, teaching, leading a LifeGroup, and as an elder.
John Piwetz

John was born in Ohio, but was raised all over the country as his father was in the Air Force. He met his wife, Karen, at Auburn University. They have four lovely daughters. He works at Sun Tan City & Planet Fitness where he serves as CFO. His hobbies include dating his wife, spending time with his girls, running and cycling. John serves Crossroads as an Elder and also teaches in various capacities within the church. John also serves as a board member of Chosen People International, a missionary ministry based in Guatemala whose primary mission is training pastors and church leaders in Central America, Mexico and South Asia.
Bob Miller

Bob was born and raised in West Virginia. Bob served in the US Navy and then worked for Ford Motor Company for 30 years. He and Doris have been married for 47 years. They have two children and two grandsons. Bob enjoys fishing, wood working, and being Doris’ boyfriend. He serves in multiple capacities at Crossroads, including LifeGroup ministry, as an elder, and overseeing the Facilities Ministry.
Doug Grinnell

Doug prayed to accept Jesus at age 7, kneeling beside the couch in his parent’s Hansen, Massachusetts home. He graduated from Bob Jones University. He and his wife, Mary Jo, have 9 children, and 4 adorable grandchildren. They have lived in Elizabethtown, Ky for 15 years. He is a small business owner and volleyball referree.
Wes Durham

Wesley is the second of nine children raised in a Christian home in Campbellsville, KY. He was saved by the finished work of Christ on the cross at the age of six (John 3:16, Romans 10:9) and continues to be saved from the power of sin by the sanctifying grace of God imparted by His word and Spirit. (Romans 12:1-2, Phil. 2:5-13, Psalm 1, Proverbs 2). Wesley and his wife, Marilyn, have been married for 44 years. They resided in Alexandria, VA when first married, while Wesley served in the Army as a graphic artist and illustrator. He graduated from EKU with high distinction in 1979 and he and Marilyn took teaching positions at Ft. Knox Schools. While teaching, Wesley obtained his M.A. from WKU, Juris Doctor cum laude from UofL, and has been practicing law for 32 years. Wesley and Marilyn have two sons, one daughter, and seven beautiful grandchildren. Wesley has been involved in Campbellsville Emmaus and REC (prison) ministries. He is an artist, enjoys hunting and fishing, and dating the bride of his youth. He loves sharing the gospel with his clients, or others God places in his path. At Crossroads, he serves as an Elder, on the mission team, and prayer ministry.
Ben Gardner

Ben was born in Mississippi and raised both there and in Ohio. He retired from the Army (BEAT NAVY) after serving over 20 years and continues to work for the Army as a civilian. He is married to his best friend Carol, and they have two children. Ben enjoys family time, traveling, and outdoor activities such as running and cycling. He serves within Crossroads on the worship team, mission team, as a Life Group leader, and an elder.
Virgil Willoughby

Virgil was born and raised in Kentucky. He and his wife Cindy were married in 1983. They are the proud parents of 11 children and 5 grandchildren. Virgil retired from the Army after 20 years, and the Elizabethtown Police Department after 16 years. He currently works for the City of Elizabethtown. Virgil enjoys spending time in the Word, with Cindy, and their family. Virgil serves as an elder and the security & safety team. He wants to model well, “love God. love Others. serve the World.”
